A suitable situation is provided by the Tempelhof incident - a tragic clash of an American cargo plane and a Soviet fighter over the main airfield in Berlin. The fatal combination of randomness and the human factor left no room for controversy about what went wrong, who first started shooting and who answered what. The incident went down in history as a disaster.
Twelve hours after the collision, the land of the German capital trembles under the first volleys of war, which should not have been. Wars between former allies, eager to get Europe and world domination.
